What customers say?

“ We've popped in several times. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Today we picked up a famous "Joey D" sandwich and it was OFF THE CHARTS! ”

- Lori Pollard (Jazz Brat) -

“ This ain't a sandwich, it's two meals in one. The car park is a bit tight considering all the traffic but worth it to get in. The place was compact but had a tonne of character, with a proper spread of Italian goodies. The service was quick, wonderful and even made modifications on the fly just to up the flavor. That's some wonderful service. I got the Joey D's specialty and man it's special. Those cold cuts were thin and stacked so they basically melted away. The olive spread was almost like a muffuletta, bringing that tang in there. The bread was soft but strong enough to hold everything together. Fresh veggies. Right amount of Mayo. Absolutely no complaints. Definitely a spot to hit up if you're into some genuinely good food! ”

“ Wow!! This place was just how my husband and I imagined. Wonderful staff to help as it was our first time at this cafe. We had the veal sandwich that literally melted in your mouth, was delicious. Nice bonus toppings are included. I had the cheese pizza slice and it was fantastic. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back and try other items. Such a little gem to check out. ”

“ Buon Giorno catered our engagement party. People could not stop talking about how incredible the food was. Everything was absolutely amazing from working with Joe, to the set up and execution. 5 ⭐ highly recommend ”

“ Buon Giorno Cafe – Where Sandwiches Mean Business If you think you know what a good sandwich is, Buon Giorno Cafe is about to raise the bar — and possibly your weekly meat intake. I ordered their "Hot Pig" sandwich and wow — this thing isn’t just a sandwich, it’s a meal event. Loaded with premium cuts of meat and fresh veggies, it was hot, hearty, and bursting with flavor. So much so that I had to tap out halfway through and come back to finish it later. Yes, it took two meals to conquer. No shame here. This place is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys American-Italian style sandwiches done right. The portion sizes are generous, the ingredients feel top-tier, and the name “Hot Pig” somehow perfectly sums up the experience: indulgent, bold, and deliciously satisfying. Buon Giorno Cafe — come hungry, leave happy (and maybe with leftovers). PS. 1 star fell off because they did not have a high chair for my 11-month old son. It would have been a marvel to dine in to feast on that "Hot Pig". ”

“ Ordered lunch for 15. From ordering, pick up to service… Everything was seamless and perfect! Thank you so much to Tony and the great team that supports him. You guys do a great job! The food was delicious, there was more than enough for everyone and the price was very reasonable! Would definitely recommend them for an Italian catered lunch and will use them again! We ordered the veal Parm, a white and a red pasta, peppers, a porchetta and cannoli. Yum, yum!! ”

“ Wow! This place exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Family run business who were very nice and provided great customer service. As for the food, I had the veal sandwich and I must say was one of the best I have had. I recommend a try ”

“ We heard good things about Buon Giorno so decided to check it out. It's a super small restaurant in a plaza that can be easy to miss - make sure you don't. It is truly authentic Italian cuisine. It's not the place to go for a fancy meal. Instead, it's where you go to taste real Italian cooking, fresh from the Nonna's hands herself. I'm not kidding. There was three generations of family working there who are eager to please you with amazing service and fantastic flavours. The food is fresh, wholesome and made with love. Veal, chicken cutlets, beef all can be had with sides or in a sandwich. They had pizza and pasta and meatballs of course also. It all looked and smelled incredible in the hot table. My mother and I arrived there just before lunch and it wasn't long before the place was packed. Obvious that a lot of the blue collar workers loved coming in for their huge sandwiches. There was a couple tables inside and a couple picnic tables outside. My mother's meal was hot, tasty, full of flavour and the meat she said was super delicious and tender. My mortadella & salomi sandwich was delicious with simple and fresh ingredients. The bun was super fresh too which is always nice. If I wanted to show someone true Italian cooking, this is the first place I'd take them. Simple, wholesome, amazing food and top-notch service. The manager made us feel relaxed like he was serving us in his own home. Much appreciated. Thank you Buon Giorno!! Will be coming back soon! Oh! They also have an amazing coffee and espresso bar. Unfortunately we were too full to try, but next time it's a must! ”
